  SMG Centennial presents the CleanTech Open Northeast Conference Alumni Reception

Join us for an alumni reception hosted by Executive-in-Residence/Lecturer/Executive Director, Social Enterprises and Sustainability Sector, Strategy and Innovation Paul McManus. Immediately following the reception, you are invited to attend the CleanTech Open Northeast conference finalist’s presentations. Attendance to the conference is complimentary with registration to the alumni reception. Due to the popularity of the event, we are limited to 25 BU alumni attendees. This is must attend event for anyone working in clean energy or an entrepreneur looking into the cleantech industry.
Cleantech Open is the oldest and largest cleantech startup accelerator program, with the mission to find, fund, and foster entrepreneurs with ideas to solve our greatest environmental and energy challenges. Through their annual business competition and accelerator program they connect cleantech startups with the people and resources that will accelerate their success, as well as a national platform for media and public visibility. Boston University is pleased to host this important event.
Cleantech Open Northeast covers Massachusetts, Vermont, Maine, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. It is proud to be a central part of the highly unique and productive regional cleantech ecosystem: Some of their accomplishments include:
  • 2012 applicants representing all 7 Northeast States
  • More than $800M raised by our startups nationally
  • More than $230M raised by Northeast alumni companies alone over the past 5 years
  • Over 160 experienced mentors involved in our mentor program, working to support and encourage our start-up teams
  • Over 300+ planned attendees, representing The NE cleantech ecosystem!
