|Gather this summer with fellow BU alumni and take in a breath of fresh air as you step into a truly new Boston University Tanglewood experience.
Delight your senses with all the beauty Tanglewood has to offer starting with a 2:30 p.m. performance by the Boston Pops Orchestra with Keith Lockhart, conductor, and BU’s very own Jason Alexander (CFA ’81), guest vocalist. The performance will feature selections from The Music Man, Pippin, Merrily We Roll Along and a few surprises. Following the performance we will make our way to the Hawthorne tent for drinks appetizers and a short performance featuring Boston University Tanglewood Institute students.
Your tickets will be available at the main entrance of Tanglewood from noon until 2:30 p.m. and from 2:30 p.m. on you can pick up your tickets at Will Call.

A new performance has been finalized and added to the Boston Symphony Orchestra (BSO)/ Boston University Tanglewood Institute (BUTI) schedule on July 13th at Tanglewood Music Center. The performance is part of the “Watch and Play” series featuring BUTI chamber musicians and will be held at the Chamber Music Hall. It will be a 1:00pm performance which will be free to attend with your 2:30pm performance ticket. Please note that we will not be offering transportation from BU to Tanglewood.
